AVCC is a new type of Church with traditional Christian beliefs. Our aim is to provide a family environment where all kinds of people can explore the Christian faith.
Our key themes are:
We hope that you will enjoy our Sunday morning service as we meet together for coffee, chat, and relevant worship. We will explore issues that we all face in the modern world, from a Christian viewpoint.
All kinds of people, at different parts of the journey, getting together to share community. Our hope is that you feel that you are no longer alone.
Because we believe that faith is a journey we hope that everything about AVCC will help you to grow in all areas of your life. We want to see whole people finding hope in Jesus Christ.
We meet every Sunday at 10:30am for our morning worship service.
Everyone is welcome including children.

Some terms we might use to describe our way of seeing church:
Searching to be rooted in a definitive belief in the Good News of Jesus Christ
Open to explore the ideas and theologies of others in peaceful dialogue
See the gospel as having an effect on the whole of creation
Fully releasing of women and men in all areas of ministry
Looking to have an honest and more complete understanding of the biblical texts in light of their context and writing style
Looking to see the gospel’s challenge worked out in ways that benefit our communities and the wider world
Celebrating our evangelical history whilst recognising our emerging journey into a new expression of church
Being open to the influence of wider writers on theology and ecclesiology
